He played excellent in his two games against Boston as well considering how Howard was playing. -
Wait until they get Thornton. I can see it now, they released Richards so they can get their chance at a brand new shiny toy. I can't stand Sather for that exact reason, he pays way too much for FA with term and salary then when he sees his mistake he just buys them out. I could see Richards ending up back in Dallas.

Are we seriously stating we should draft more from Michigan? Why? Obviously the high end talent just isn't there. Average "Local Boys" aren't going to win cups, the best players put together will. I couldn't even imagine a team full of Abdelkaders playing for the Wings. What a disaster. -

Karlsson is a giveaway machine as well. I saw a bunch of games this year where he turned the puckover in his own zone and it resulted in a goal against. It's not all on Spezza. He also has to deal with other teams top forwards / defenders.

Spezza would cost too much, Ottawa won't trade him within the division. We need to focus on D first before any more forwards come in.

Wow people still making excuses for Franzen sucking? Hopefully you guys got another 5 years of excuses. Franzen is a lazy player that shouldn't be given anymore then 10 minutes per game.

Oh but Holland is such a bad GM, blah blah blah. Kudos to Holland to getting Blash on board for the next 3 years, and going to get Babcock probably on a 2 or 3 year deal. -
Franzen needs to be playing 2nd line or 3rd line next year.

People want to silently shop Mantha now? wow, thank god your not the GM. We need scoring, Mantha scores. Forget all this no room for Mantha in the top 9. You do realize once he reaches his full potential, all the other guys named will be trade bait. People are quick to whine about Jarnkrok being traded, but Mantha should be on the block. Going to be a long wait until July 1st and these ridiculous proposals.

Can't wait till next year and hopefully we are 100% healthy, I think we could challenge for the division if we stay healthy.

People complain to complain. Where I used to live in an apartment a lady complained because my alarm clock went off at 5AM, and I had to be at work at 6AM. s***, I would have went next door and partied with Tatar if I was them.

Way too many armchair GM's on this board. They think they know everything but they really don't. The same can be said for Jarnkrok being traded. They see things we don't, and with the drafting and depth in GR Holland obviously has a clue what he's doing. And before we try and give all the credit to Nill for being in charge of drafting, that is false. Holland was an amateur and pro scout before coming a GM. He knows exactly what he's looking for in a player.
