Not like they'd count on Samsonov pushing for a job in Detroit next season. I wouldn't be surprised if Detroit took a goalie at some point because there is no sure thing in net in Grand Rapids going forward. if they took a defenseman or a forward neither would be in Detroit on the next years anyway

He isn't coming here so it doesn't matter. I've seen plenty of Strome as well as AA both in person. I have a feeling Strome will be back in junior and AA will be pressing for playing time in Detroit at some point next season Believe it

Athanasiou's goal in OT...also for the thread about Mantha...his goal was a beauty....nice to see they allow blatant crosschecks to goalies in the AHL. Larkn's setup on the first goal was awesome too

After his last year of Junior..had he been in last year's draft Florida would've taken him 1st overall
