I thought if someone signs a contract before age 35 and retires the years remaining were voided and didn't count against the cap such was the case with Rafalski

Every free agent on offense needs to hit free agency. Not sure how much cap space cab be cleared by letting them all walk but I hope most will be filled by Griffins next season -
Stick with Howard...let all the UFA Forwards go after the season...fill in with some Griffins
