On TSN and NHL.com they are saying Boston aquired Corvo from Carolina for a 4th rounder in 2012, almost a trade of kabs and a pick for corvo.

I voted Miller, thought he could do most of what Eaves could, but for much less. Eaves made around 1 mill last year and Miller basically cloned him for 400,000 less. That said it was close I hope we get both, but not at anymore than 750k, if they want more i'd play Emmerton and Mursak. We could still sign someone with that money to help with 4th/pk duty.

There was no way we could match the SJ offer, but, I don't think it would have got that high, without someone driving the bids. It's likely Holland is just as mad that he couldn't land Burns. We DO have Lidstrom this year and I'm pretty sure everyone was looking at next year as the rebuild year, this year is another band-aid year, hold on to the wagon, the ride always gets easier. ATL/Winnipeg to NW from SE COL to Pacific DAL to SE Dallas would gain from being closer to all the teams there, and fans may go see their team in other southern towns over going out to west from Texas. Colorado is pretty close to the same schedule and travel times as Dallas. Winnipeg needs to be realigned, hands down. I think this works best for start times, travel, actual location, minimal impact, etc. what do you guys think? and yes, i'd rather detroit moved and all hell broke lose for every other team, but im trying to be realistic.

When this happens, just unplug your ps3, that way it doesnt auto-save, then you go in and sign Lidstrom yourself, easy.

How many people have been hurt by the puck this year, do we change that to a nerf ball? We can remove all the glass so no one can get hurt on it, the boards too, hell. the arena, its dangerous for players to have to drive there in traffic. This was a fluke, these guys know that they can get hurt out there, ask Boyce and Modano. That said, if this wasn't a Hab that got hurt, there would be no police involved.
