Agreed. Any man knows that if you get hit in that "area", even if it is not a direct hit to the nuts, your bodys natural reaction is to double over like that. I think the people saying this is an over the top embellishment/dive/whatever, are either women, or guys who have never taken a good hit to the balls or groin before.

I have too, and when you go frame by frame, and pause at the moment of impact, his skates are on the ice. If that is jumping into a hit, then what Kronwall and Stuart do almost every game is also jumping into a hit. I think thats the point of this thread...

No it doesn't. I've looked at the different videos multiple times and when you pause at the moment of impact, both of Fistrics feet are clearly on the ice. He left his feet on the follow through, just like Kronwall does on pretty much all of his big highlight real hits.

If thats the same thing I am thinking of, it was kinda crazy. He completely butchered a couple names and then just went silent for like 10 full seconds. I honestly though he had a stroke for a second there...

E is so frustrating to watch. Hes been in the league for a few years, and still looks like a lost puppy out on the ice. He almost always looks confused like he has no idea what he should be doing, or whats going on around him. And he is a big boy, but completely refuses to use his size to his advantage. I hope he gets better, since we are giving him s*** tons of money, but to be honest, I think where he is at is what he is capable of, and hes just not very good. Still hoping that Kenny knows something we don't though... Time will tell.

This. He looks completely unlike the Pavel we all know. And I couldn't think of a way to put it, but you put it perfectly saying he just doesn't have the puck on a string like used to. He seems to lose the puck a lot so far this season, and those plays that look like they should be simple to the Datsyuk we have known for the past years, he just can't complete, loses the puck off his stick, turns it over way more frequently than usual. Something definitely seems wrong. I am not sure if he tweeked his wrist againover the summer or if its something else, but he doesn't look even remotely close to how we are used to seeing him so far this year... I'm hoping (like we all are) that he can turn it around sooner than later. Its frustrating as a fan to watch, so I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for him.

Bad example. Depending on the situation, and local laws, that could very well be illegal. Its also up to the officers discretion. If you are going 25 in a 40 zone all by yourself and nobody else is around, fine, you'll not be ticketed even if a cop pulls up on you. If you are going 25 in a 40 zone during rush hour and causing a major backup and impeding traffic, you can (and most times will if a cop witnesses it) get a ticket for impeding traffic, which is illegal in many, if not most, places.

First, I clearly said "attempted", I never said he landed it, which he did attempt it, as you can see by the video he looks like he was going high with his stick, and got as high as he could while on his ass. I also never said two handed. Nice attempt at twisting what I said to try to make your counterpoint (or lack thereof) seem more compelling, though...

I don't know... He still had a few moves that for someone like him should have been simple, but he failed to complete or lost the puck. I think he tweaked his wrist during the summer and is trying to just play through it. The way he looks out there, its like there is something physical holding him back, not mental.

Agreed. I think we got a pretty good deal on him. They even mentioned in the game the other night the the Sharks were pretty surprised by the contract amount White signed here, and one of the reasons they didn't try to re-sign him themselves was because they thought he was going to want a lot more than he signed here for.
