So did Versus just decide at the last second to not air this, or what? It was schedule to air on Versus, I even double checked earlier to make sure, then out of nowhere they seem to have decided to air the Boston game instead. Is the Tampa Pittsburgh game airing on any normal station that one would get on a basic cable package, or did it get bumped to TSN something?

True, but why did all the listings say that hockey central was airing from 7-8 and the Tampa v. Pittsburgh game was coming on at 8 then when they knew the whole time that the Boston Montreal game was starting first? And why not air the Pittsburgh game knowing that the CBC was going to air the Montreal game, and even the most basic of cable packages get CBC. Now I have the same game on every channel. Ughh...frustrating.

What happened to the Pittsburgh game? I check the cable listings earlier and Versus was scheduled to show it, then out of nowhere right before the start of the Boston game it changed. So now we have the Boston game airing on 3 differnt channels, and the Pitts game gets bumped all together? (on my cable at least) Lame.

I do too, but reality is, it will only get worse once we are in AZ. Refs have orders from Bettman and Co. to extend series' as long as possible and to throw games to the teams that are less skilled and would by all accounts be swept, or nearly swept, but will now go to 7 game matches, by orders of Lord Gary. (bet we won't see any sweeps this year too, wonder why?) Business as usual...

Can anyone tell me what the penaties are for each team at this point? I believe the refs have called about 15 on us in just two games, give or take? Is that correct? How many have been called on phoenix, out of curiousity?

Thats putting it diplomatically. Since I don't give a f*** what people say, I'll put it in terms we all are thinking... That was pure bulls***, and a clear sign of the type of BS and corruption going on in the league now. If a team goes down these days, you can count on the corrupt refs (via orders of Bettman and NHL govs) to throw the game in their favor. And in this match? Pffft... Its AZ, one of the leagues babies that they have been funding (with the revenues of the actual real NHL teams, BTW) to try to keep afloat for years now, so you know the refs throught this whole series will be doing everything they can (via orders from Bettman and Co.) to throw the games in phoenix's favor to try to expent the series as long as they can, and make Bettman and Co. as much $$$$$ as possible. You think the calls in this game were BS, just wait until we get to AZ.......

One of the funnier comments I read regarding this, via the puck daddy comment section; The phrase "Pens fans" can also be substituted with "Chicago fans".

You have to think that the cops are only doing this to appease the NHL, so you could probably argue (and have the cop back you up) that they didn't want to write the ticket, but were told to by the NHL, and under NHL rules, throwing objects on the ice is allowed in certain celebratory circumstances. And being this is Detroit and these are the playoffs, and it is celebatory playoff tradition here, it should be let go. I'm just brainstorming though, I am not a lawyer and don't know how these things actually go down. But I'm sure the judge probably wouldn't be to happy either that a city like Detroit, who has much larger issues to deal with, is having their court system burdened by non-sense like this.
