What shocks me most is that there are actually some people defending this signing. Whether you think Quincey totally sucks or is OK, I think anyone that actually watches hockey and still has firing brain cells can agree that there is no way in HELL that is Quincey worth $4.25 mil. I've never been one to jump on the Holland hate bandwagon, nor do I hate him now, but I seriously have to wonder what the hell he was thinking with this signing. To even bring him back to begin with was a dumb move, but to then sign him to another 2 years and give him a RAISE on top of that is beyond comprehension to me.

I disagree with the thread title. I would MUCH rather have D or Z get drunk and play grab ass with a cop and have to get booked, and maybe get a slap on the wrist and a fine, then have Quincey signed for another 2 years at an absurd $4+ mil.

That video is hilarious if you ignore the shooter and just watch the goalie. The goalie looks like hes just standing there daydreaming, and then just trips and falls down to his right. While a neat move, the shootout goal would be a bit more impressive if the goalie didn't look like they just grabbed some random person off the street who never played or watched hockey before and dressed them and put them in goal, lol.

He lost the tip of his finger. (not his whole finger as the thread title implies) Still sucks no doubt, but definitely nowhere close to as bad as actually losing a whole finger.

Nice one on Mule, but...jesus... The Wings have to have some sort of record in giving up 2-3 goal leads. If they go up by 2, or god forbid 3, its almost a given at this point that they are going to blow the lead.

I know the refs are letting most stuff go in this game, which is cool, but if they are going to call something, they really need to just step up and call embellishment on the Avs. Its getting ridiculous. When a Wing even looks at an Avs player sideways, the pansy ass Av player drops to the ice and lays there like they just got shot by a sniper, trying to draw a penalty.

I have no clue either. Unless they thought by doing so they were protecting him since he had just become a major target at that point, and kept making all the other player even more pissed by talking trash and laughing at them, and giving them little slashes, etc.

With all the Wings out there and the refs trying to throw the game to the other team, I feel like I'm watching a Wings game... lol Seriously though... the refs have given the Fins THREE power plays so far in less than one period, including a 1:30+ 5 on 3. Of course they refuse to call anything on the Fins though...
