Yeah the hat may not have been the best decision. I had a token dislike for Bylsma before, didn't know anything about him but if he's coaching the Pens... however, after watching 24/7 I have to say he seems like a very good coach. Kind of reminds me of Dick Winters from "Band of Brothers", actually.

Watching Mursak and now Tatar I can't help but feel the future of the team is in good hands. Very impressed. Also, resilience. Two games in a row coming back from a two goal deficit speaks volumes about this team and is a very good sign for the playoffs. Of course it would be better if we didn't put ourselves in these situations but you can't always be perfect.

Couldn't watch the game due to a dentists appointment I'm about to leave to. Just finished watching the highlights from nhl.com and I can't decide what I like the most about it really. Is it our depth really showing up tonight, our resilience to come back from three fast goals like that and not only tie it up but utterly crush a top 3 team in the conference, or is it HATTY EAVES :siren: Can't believe I missed it.

I still think we're winning this one. And when we get home Flip and Helm get an extra hour after every practice just to shoot, 5 times round the rink for every one that misses the net. EDIT: Seriously, both of those guys could be superstars if they had a good shot

Is it just me or has the captain got a LOT of clutch goals this season? Almost as many as Clears. Nice pass by Huds too, signs of life continue.

Not saying Ozzie hasn't looked weak, but so far we're giving them a shot / minute. You don't win a lot of games where the opposition gets 60 shots on goal.

Ugh, that's why we don't let people just stand in our crease. This seems to be a repeating trend now, not getting rough enough in front of our own net.

Been watching a stream of the Stars broadcast, and I have to say their announcers are actually very good. Enthusiasm without going overboard, and while of course pulling for the Stars they are definitely giving the Wings a lot of credit as well. I believe late in the second there they were talking about how Lids should be mentioned in the Sid vs. Ovi "best player in the league" discussions.

Had to get a drink myself after reading all the drunken slur in this thread. Clearly it works. We really dominated the end of the period there, those calls weren't even soft. Good to see the PP converting too. The game is far from over though, the Blues this season have a lot of drive...
