Haymaker hockey here, both teams playing surprisingly loose, giving up chances like hell. Despite the numbers both goalies have had a really strong game apart from one slip each.

First period: lots of back and forth, chances for both teams. Jimmy held the fort and Bert sniped one top shelf. Second period: Wings domination almost all the way through, Huds with a kind of lucky bounce after a great pass from Lids got him a breakaway and 3-0 by Cleary with a nice backhand after a great setup by Bert.

Avs getting dominated, if this keeps up we're not gonna stop at three tonight.

Pretty decent first period, chances for a few more than the one we got and Jimmy has been superb as usual. Also, first post! Hello fellow Wings fans, been lurking here since last spring and finally got around to making an account. I'm a student from Finland and the Wings have been my favourite NHL team pretty much since I started playing and following hockey as a little kid (don't play myself anymore though). Gonna be hanging out in the GDTs whenever I can afford to stay up to the wee hours of the morning.
