I've argued in the past that some of the 'fluke' goals we were seeing for awhile might have been caused by poor positioning as opposed to just bad luck.

So what's the actual rule on that? Didn't look like he really interfered with Howie, though it looked like he did 'help' Z into Jimmy.

My daughter just sat down and we scored twice. Told my wife she can't go to bed since she's good luck. Now I think I'm in trouble since it's already past her bed time. Oh well, small price to pay. -

I agree, though I've seen several people calling out the system and McCrimmon in particular and was curios as to why they thought that. I'm a little surprised at how often Babcock says things will get worked on only to have nothing change. He seems like the kind of coach who would force the issue, though his hands may be somewhat tied with the recent injuries. -

Holland and Babs are usually pretty sharp guys. Seems strange they would have a defensive coach who sucks. Maybe Babcock should stare at him some more? -

In all honesty how responsible is McCrimmon? Is he like a defensive coordinator in football? If it was a scheme thing shouldn't we ultimately hold Babs responsible? -

Was driving to Petoskey last weekend and my son figured we had the St Louis announcer b/c they couldn't pronounce Hudler. On a side note, I couldn't listen to the Wings but had the St Louis feed up through Kalkaska (north of Cadillac). That seemed weird
