Datsyuk... the cure for whatever ails ya.
-
That's what I thought, just wanted to check. The Chicago fan thread got me wondering about it.
-
Aye! (gotta get my post count up!)
-
Did the Dallas fans boo Modano when he went back? My memory is crap
-
Abby!!!
-
On a non-hockey note, my son complained that he was bored today... I told him that was pretty sad considering this is basically the first day of Christmas vacation. Kids today
-
Is the GDT broken or something? This has to be the quietest I've seen it.
-
Eaves had better be in the lineup everday from here on out.
-
Agreed... I ended up tweaking my tv settings so the ice is a little brighter and the jerseys are actually Red Wing Red.
-
At least we're getting it to the middle of the ice tonight, unlike much of the past week.
-
Damn! Cleary has been so close twice! Fat guys like myself really can't take that excitement!
-
My new Datsyuk jersey is working well!
-
That's what I thought, though it can be hard to tell when you're at the game. I though it was hilarious they booed even louder at the lack of a call when they showed the replay
-
I was at the game and was pretty disappointed... They spent more time booing Detroit than they did cheering their own team. The Chelios thing was ridiculous and he looked a little upset after being booed even louder when he asked them to let bygones be bygones. Hell, they were booing/heckling his Mom!
-
I was at the game amd didn't think it was too bad. Heck, Howie got away with a couple of blatant spears at one point. My favorite had to be when the Blackhawk took the stick to the face. They showed a replay and it looked like a Hawk whacked him but the fans started booing. I could be wrong about who hit him, if I'm not it was pretty funny.

Heading to my first game in Chicago Friday night... any advice? I've had some bad experience at Bears games wearing my Lions jersey, hopefully hockey fans are better.
-
We were at that game (day after Thanksgiving) and my son refused to toss his bear. My daughter did so we bought her a special Griff stuffy... he was not happy
-
My favorite was when Ken mentioned it on the road trip out west Murph interrupts him with a very loud "WHOOO HOOOO"... sounded like Homer Simpson.
-
I always liked him when he played for the Griffins but he never seemed to get any better. Not sure if it was work ethic or what, but he seemed to plateau pretty quick, which was disappointing.

This should be an interesting experience. My wife has told me I worry too much and that I'll be fine if I keep my mouth shut (I believe she used the word obnoxious). Fortunately we won't be drinking much as we have to drive back to the South Bend area to open the store in the morning (haven't told the boss we're closing early to drive over there). Any idea if there's much overlap with the Hawks/Wolves fans? Most of the Wolves fans I met were pretty decent, but then again they might be nicer people b/c they aren't the typical Chicago ******* who can afford tickets to the Hawks games

My wife just got me a Datsyuk jersey for Christmas and gave it to me early b/c of the game... I'll be pretty pissed if they try spilling beer on us. I had season tickets at the Griffins for several years and got to know the people I sit with, hopefully this will be the same thing so the people will be cool. On a side note, the Griffins' wives sat next to us... several of them had HUGE rocks on their fingers and just about all of them were smoking hot. My mom got to know them pretty well, very nice ladies.

I think we are sitting in 310. Friend of a friend's season tickets. Should be fun!
-
Thought I was hearing things... nice to know I'm not crazy.
-
Seeing as how we've discussed how awesome Mick is I don't think anyone on this board is allowed to complain about homers
-
It's like watching the old Lions 'bend but don't break' defense... of course the Lions always bent to the point they couldn't help it and then broke.
