We had a special Olympian work for us a few years back. Great guy, but definitely special. We went to one of his basketball games and once he saw us he started shooting as soon as he crossed half court. Kind of reminds me of the Wings right now

I would argue that stupid penalties outweigh any big hit he might inflict. It's sad, but he's just too slow. As soon as he takes a hand of his stick he gets whistled for hooking, slashing, holding the stick, etc.

Wasn't Bert on the third line a few games back? I'd so, playing like a drunken jack hole gets you promoted to the 2nd line? That seems strange to me.

I thought we moved better without the puck on the PP. Too often four guys seem to stand there and stare at the guy with the puck.

Do they track odd man rushes for and against? I'd be curious to see that stat along with finishing rate.

I think that call is relatively consistant with some of the Detroit goals we've seen waived off over the years. Can understand Minny fans being upset though

Any suggestions for stations? Heading to Petoskey and just passed Cadillac. Trying to find pre game but no luck so far.

1660 has been the best so far but it cuts out randomly. Very strange signal. Not too bad just north of Cadillac, cut out completely in Kalkaska, okay in Mancelona, spotty north of Mancelona. Wow, just heard the station id and it's out of Kalamazoo.

I noticed that Vancouver seems to move much better without the puck on their PP then we did. Granted, they didn't score, but I think it leads to more opportunities.

Watched the game with my wife and sister in-law Thursday and they were very disappointed by the music (aside from screaming "Born and raised in south Detroit" as loud as they can). If it's gotten so obvious that these two are noticing you know something is wrong.
