We played a great road period in the first but after that we spent most if the game on our heels. Looked like we were skating in quicksand with way too many turnovers.

Anyone hear anything about the ice conditions? Seem to be a lot of people from both teams falling for no reason along with some bouncy pucks.

Pretty impressive to not give up a goal or a power play after spending that much time in our zone. I would prefer we spend a bit more time in their zone... too much defensive excitement is bad for my heart and also my wife's night sleep.

Nice first period, on the road, after no playing for 8 days. Would have been nice to score the PP but other than that things looked very positive... Jimmy made a nice couple of saves when needed.
