I am fired up! Jersey is on, lucky playoff lava lamp is properly positioned near the tv and firing on all cylinders, kids both have jerseys, and son is hoping to wear out the batteries on his goal helmet. Let's do this!

Got the beard shaved off last night... daughter spent the day running around yelling "Stranger Danger!" at me and then cowering in a corner. My wife rolled over in her sleep last night and freaked out as she didn't recognize me... my face being naked for the first time in quite awhile is turning out to be more enjoyable than I had expected.

In the process of shaving mine off so I can start from scratch, stupid beard trimmer died from being overworked. My wife says I now look like I'm 12 and doesn't want to kiss me b/c it's too weird. Also my son has vowed to not shave at all until the playoffs are over, though he is 8. It's the thought that counts.
