Florida looks pretty deep this year too...

DeKeyser is still unsigned with us, and we won the sweepstakes on him... What's your point? So you weren't enthralled with the signings of all of the Nosek, Miele, Porter, Zengerle type players, but you wish we signed a 26 year old AHL checker with all of 25 NHL games on his resume?

PK has routinely expressed that he wants to be a Habs lifer. I think that's why he was willing to sign that last bargain deal. I'm betting he stays

Not going to point fingers, but ppl around here were mad at Holland for not chasing Gleason. Bought out by the Leafs now. Glad Holland didn't pull that trigger.

We will win the Stanley Cup!

I predict Holland trades for Pronger. We really need some help on the back end.

Not saying Tatar is a money guy, but he's been up and coming for years for the wings and has always been held back, this is a good show of faith. Hopefully he hangs around longer than happy face.

Also I still hate the "diesel" nickname

The most comparable production I can see of a player who just signed is Mcginn who I believe just signed a 2 year 3 mill deal. Mcginn is older (not sure if he was RFA). I can see Tats asking for something comparable to that.

A friend of mine who tends bar in Grand Rapids at a place the Griffins frequent said a while back that Ferraro told him that he didn't think he had a future with the wings. Sounded like he knew it was going to have to be some other big club to give him a chance. Too many guys ahead of him.

My bachelors was in a degree relating to social stats. During that time I did my best to relate everything I did to sports (I'm not claiming to be an expert). But, when looking at advanced stats, Tatar is awesome. As in, he stand out the most. Nyquist also has formidable advanced stats. Those two are clearly ahead of the curve. Just like the opinions we would paint.

No, Ken is hitting the links - AGAIN - today

Sorry, I'm slow and fail to see your point. Care to enlighten me?

Cleary, Bert. Q > Jurco, Tatar, Nyquist

watching his highlights I he seems like a veryyyy good first pass guy. I know we have a lot of those, but if he keeps improving I can't imagine what he could do with guys like Jurco, Tatar, and Pulikkenen on his wings. Good signing. He and Miele could end up being very good acquisitions in the near future.

I read about him, wish we had snagged him as well.

The guy who couldn't crack the Florida Panthers lineup? Sorry, Quincey > Whitney

I love the shoot out. Thought it was awesome when it first started being used at the frequency it is now. But it's just not fair to decide as many games as we do with it. I like the 4 on 4 then 3 on 3 then SO idea. Loser point should be scrapped entirely. 1 point for a win in any situation.

Last year we were hyped for a big comeback season. Then injuries beyond devastated us. Now we're a dark horse. I think that's good for this team. We are more than capable of proving were still contenders
