Ok, Pierre knows the game. Knows it well. And I have no doubt that he'd surprise some ppl as a GM. But he is incredibly biased IMO, whether that translates into his possible management career remains to be seen.

Old thread, I miss mindfly and Eva lol On that note, whatever happened to Crymson and Blueadams? New guys aren't as fun

A pro athlete should be able to manage a pull up regardless of the sport (unless u curl). I'm by no means anything close to athletic and I could hammer out more than a few as early as junior high, and even though I'm now old and out of shape I can still do at least a few. I don't think he's a bust bc he can't do one, but it is rather sad.

I've given up on this thread. Besides LeftWinger most here are trolls.

Putting pressure on the wings was the wrongggg idea. He had one good PRE season. Adios Almqvist. -

Wow. Plz let this happen.

Especially since he ignores every one of my counter points just like every troll in the world

Not to mention his Fenwick HARD (which I believe you are using) is also better than Zberg's when trailing during 5v5. R u saying Zberg gives up more than Franzen?!?!?! I'll let Rich have at that since he wanted to play advanced metrics. He nitpicked stats to suite his argument.
-
Yeah and he's 6th on the team among forwards in Corsi Hard He's also 6th on the team in Corsi HART among forwards playing 500 minutes of 5v5. And he's tied for 87th in the league among forwards playing 500 minutes of 5v5 in Corsi HART, literally right next to Crosby AND Malkin That's a top 6 forward And his Corsi HART is better than Zetterberg's when trailing during 5v5 play.

The kings haven't lost quite yet -
There's a reason why we don't have a ton of big hitters. Most head hunters hit behind the play.

Until a kid truly breaks out and becomes a star you can't replace them. I'm talking about a retool. Putting the young up and comers around them at the appropriate time.

Keyword IF. This is 100% speculation by fans based on his mental state in Sweden almost 10 years ago. He even stated that Detroit was different when he came over and gained a lot of confidence.
-
Did you even read those articles? They are about his "boyhood" social anxiety, not last year. In fact the first makes it sound like coming to Detroit helped him grow out of his childhood shyness. Malik also clearly states that he cannot confirm Franzens current mental state or if he missed time due to it, only that he had social anxiety as a kid. Did you think we didn't or wouldn't read those links? They don't prove your point whatsoever. Your stats were an absolute joke too, but we'll ignore that won't we DG... LeftWinger, list 6 guys better than Franzen on each team.

But then Al will have to learn to operate a different machine! Learning new things is HARD! -
I agree with you, but I also I think they're interested in adding geographically western cities so that the conferences can even themselves out better. What are they gonna do? Make Detroit and Columbus move back to the West?

Idioms and movie references aren't silly...

If you're going to flash numbers at least get them right. Tied for 133rd in goals Tied for 108th in assists Tied for 106th in FO win% Tied for 121th in points Tied for 241st in blocked shots Tied for 286th in takeaways Despite being at 335th in games played he put offensive numbers well within the 180 mark. His defensive numbers would probably be inside the 180 mark too if he had been healthy. These numbers paint the picture of a Top 3 forward since his offensive numbers would be inside the 90 mark had he played a full season. Isn't that just silly? Well he's tied for 75th in the league in average goals per game so I'd say yes you can call him a goal scorer. You might ask: Who else is tied for 75th with him? Evander Kane and Milan Lucic among others. What other goal scorers are below him? Jagr, Lecavalier, Mackinnon, Voracek, Gaborik, Eric Staal, Hartnell, Ladd, Jussi Jokinen, Dustin Brown, Eriksson, and more. And at his sticker price he's a pretty good bargain too. I sure love being silly.

Renny is spare parts IMO

I would like to see a large two team expansion at a later date. Seattle and another team joining the west to even the conferences.

ECF : (5) New York Rangers vs. (4) Les Canadiens de Montréal

It was one of those hits where it looked like Moore didn't have dirty intentions. I probably would have made that hit. But then after the fact you're like ok I can see how that was dirty. Refs definitely being cautious in this series. Props to Subban talking down Weise after the hit. -
I swear if I see one NTC by ken this summer I will lose my freaking mind
