Franzen is a top 6 forward. And it's not just Holland saying that, it's his scouts, coaches, and other hockey brains as well. Unless you think he irrationally ignores his advisors. You, Degrass, and Leftwinger, seem to be the only ones here that are so blindingly hateful of him that you support a buyout. Get real.

Well I'm a state guy. Even so, I have a lot of family from Rochester, some of which went to school with him. They relayed to me that he is kind of a sad story. Mamas boy, not a lot of friends, kinda weird, not well liked by teammates. If someone knows better correct me, but from all I've heard he's an Emmerton with a Franzen body

Yan Golubovsky had pretty high potential too. Then our 10th round pick from that year turned out to be way better and the best net front forward in the league. I think it's insulting to write off a player just bc u have some perceived idea that his potential is lower bc he's not Daigle hyped.

Nyquist Mantha Tatar Jurco Sheahan Backman Sproul Ouellet Mrazek Pulkkinen Marchenko Athanasiou Callahan Think we should pursue any of those guys? that's only like 13 players that could probably step in and half ass Niskanen or Alfredsson's job at a fraction of the price.
