Let alone one that can't feed himself, Holland does everything for this team. -

Assistant to head minor leaguer to head NHLer, and went to the finals in the AHL Similar So what makes good coach is a good team??? Like I said. He has zero experience as an NHL head coach. His only plus is a small familiarity with the roster. That's not much -

I'd take a coach less 90s wings team over a bowman coached dead wings team. Regardless, I'm not advocating not having a coach, or that bowman didn't push us over the top. I'm saying Blashill is far from a bowman at this point. -

Isn't it just that? Only difference being we don't think it's stupid -
Jus sayin, Wiz might come cheap because the Ducks arn't playing him. We all know the points he capable of.

On the contrary, most Russians regard the soviet era as the golden age of Russia. You only regard the period as stifling because you have been blinded by decadent western imperialism. What's Slava's job in Russia again?

With such great players, why do we even need a coach? A monkey could coach team of Nyquists and Pulkinens at the AHL level Or, ya know, they're just really good players playing at their potential -

Blashill has never coached in the NHL before and had success in the AHL because he was spoon fed great prospects by Holland -
Putin made him do it

Players who might be available due to teams cap issues

I see the Hawks letting Sharp walk and/or trading Hossa before anything happening with Seabrook. They have young players who can fill wing rolls. Not so much at D. -
His rights were owned by CBJ. The news around the league was the Wings were gonna make him offers if he tested FA. Instead he took CBJs big money offer, saying Columbus was close enough to home for him and he didn't expect the wings to make a better offer than what he got.

We've missed the wiz train so many times now I'm starting to think it'll never happen. Seems like he's perpetually available though, at no fault of his own. Not counting this Duck stint.

Blashill knows how loaded this teams pipeline is. I'm sure he'll be chomping at the bit as soon he's done competing for another Calder Cup. It's really almost storybook. He coached them to a championship in the minors and now he'll do it in the pros. Meanwhile Toronto thinks everything is going to turn around (like they think every year) because they got Babs. On their end it's pretty much comical... they finally realize just how bad things are, how that roster needs a complete rebuild and overhaul, and then, just when they're about to actually do just that, they are reinvigorated with false hope with the signing of Babs. My prediciton: Their is some initial success. They augment the roster to win now, and it pays off, but not enough to achieve anything of real significance. They linger is mediocrity, much like Babs did his last few years in Detroit. Kindl, Quincey, Ericsson, Weiss, White, Samuelsson, Tootoo, Cleary, Commodore, Modano, and apparently to some Kronwall, Zetterberg, and Howard as well. PS Bylsma sucks -
Lol Grass is always greener right? Did you also put money on the Oilers after Hall? Hopkins? Yakupov? No no, I bet McDavid is the real key to success right?
-
So the Buffalo Sabres? lol
-
I said that in 2010
-
No I said his arrogance is quite understandable considering his height. Of course I have an affinity for big boys. Bigger is better right? That's why we're talking about Greenway. Are you saying you don't want us to draft big boys?
-
I hope he can do more than goon it up... Kid won't fit in the penalty box. HOLY SMOKES HES HUGE It's his attitude. He's got an arrogant side. But that's pretty understandable when you realize he's been look down on everyone else his whole life. We must look like ants to him.
