Predicting not getting swept in the 1st is a whole lot more realistic than predicting the opposite. Even with how the team is playing. We're 28th in the league in hits. Guess who's 29 and 30? Chicago and Minnesota. Still wanna make that argument?

I love AA too Jim, but my vote is Callahan or Miele at this point. Miele only got terrible stints on a terrible PHX team, maybe his time will be different here.

Letting Hudler go was probably the biggest mistake of Holland's career. And that happened twice. Jiri gave us every opportunity to keep him.... shame on us.

Why? He nabbed Cole and Zidlicky for us. Everyone was pretty universally happy when those trades went down, and it showed he was trying to improve this team for the playoffs. Zidlicky alone won us a few games. Personally I don't think either should be replaced, but I'd like to hear why you think the GM is more responsible for this slump than the coach.
