My guess about drafting Lil Tuzzi at this point is that the wings probably got an early glance at him because Todd was on the team, and they liked what they saw. I'm betting it had nothing to do with the name on the jersey and everything to do with having the inside track on a good prospect.

Problem being they have TWO baseball teams. Like I originally pointed out, Detroit and Boston have all 4 major teams with no duplicates. Thought I made that clear. I would hate it if Detroit had two hockey teams.

I'd say Boston and Detroit are the greatest sports cities. Both cities have all 4 major NA sports, with no extra teams so the city isn't divided like in NYC or LA. Both hockey teams are original six to boot. Only knock on Detroit is the Lions and the city itself.

He's 22. Nyquist was 24 when he go his first real NHL stint. Tatar was 23. I think he's right on track. ET, I don't see why Pulkkinen and Mantha can't coexist on the same roster. Datsyuk and Zetterberg only have a few years left of filling the top spots. I'm overly fond of homegrown talent though. I guess we will need room when we re-sign Filppula and Hudler
