Gordie is from the day when there was no enforcers. you either stood up for yourself or you didn't. Glad to say Gordie was one of the best at doing just that. -
I guess that's what I'm saying. It's wide open still and we're right in the middle of it. Asking is we're are a contender is kinda dumb. 2012 Kings fans would wrongly say no. 2013 Nucks fans would wrongly say yes.

Dang, Pulkkinnen was highly criticized just 2 years ago as a boom or complete bust type prospect. Scouts questioned his skating and his work ethic. I guess he is continuing to go out of his way to shut them up. Love this kid. He's got lunch pail work ethic and top notch talent written all over him.

We're in the top 7 teams at the end of November, Top 4 in conference, Top 3 in division. Take that for what it is. Also, that doesn't mean we are necessarily the #7 #4 or #3 team

I met him once in person. My honest guess would be 5'11" 200 lb. He was shorter than I thought but very stocky. -

I know everyone compares Pulks to Hull bc of his slap shot, but to me he's got a lil bit of an Yzerman vibe. As in he just plain gets things done. Not saying he has Stevie's talent or leadership, just that intangible work ethic and hockey sense. That flip pass to himself off the boards followed by a slap shot goal just reminds me of an early Yzerman for some reason.

I love fighting and would love to see it returned to what it was, but yes it's 100% slowly phasing itself out.
