Do we need a trade to get our offence going ?

We need a top line winger that can shoot. A top line power forward. A top pairing puck moving Dman. And a bottom 6 made entirely of enforcers to protect these players. Then maybe. Just maybe. Our offense will get going. -
The point being Mantha is special. Larkin is not. That's why I think he's a bit overrated around here. He's barely into his first year of college and ppl have already dubbed him untouchable. Not saying he isn't a great prospect.

He's not anything close to Mantha (yet). Grouping those two together is overrating Larkin. Mantha is the only true untouchable prospect in our system.

I think both Larkin and Myers are overrated. I wouldn't lose my mind over a trade involving Larkin, but also wouldn't want it to be for Myers either. Can't understand why people like Myers so much. He's light years behind Weber, Chara, and every D-man his size. Quite honestly he'd be a whipping boy here with the game he brings coupled with his price tag and size.

If you're going to lump PK Subban, Lars Eller, Nazem Kadri, Nail Yakupov, and Sean Avery into the same group you're going to have to do some explaining Frank. I understand that you might not like any of them, but this is a similar group of players in very few regards.

I'm a cancer survivor myself. I was fortunate to catch mine early, but it still took 2 surgeries and 2 years out of my life. What Murray is facing is something I can't imagine. I would've vacated my job by now if I was him. But he's a stronger man than me. Goodluck to him and his family. -

If we sign him good. I just don't understand the "He went to college so will probably slot in above our top 4 Dmen in GR". Not every player is a Dekeyser. In fact most are not.

Except Morrison hasn't played a second of minor or pro league hockey yet and Backman, Ouellet, Sproul, and Marchenko have all played more than a few games at those levels and are basically the same age. Not buying the college maturity argument on this one.
