Agreed to an extent. It just irks me how ppl hated on having a Hasek/Osgood tandem. Half the leagues other teams would pray for a tandem like that back in the day. Evan at their age. Wings fans were always the most critical.

Ok I think you're hearing me incorrectly. I translate soccer game to "puck possession game" bc that's what soccer and we do. So when someone says our soccer game isn't working, I hear puck possession game is not working for us. Low scoring approach? Not sure any team advocates that I wouldn't call any of those team run and gun offense, maybe Tampa and Ny, but they've turned corners recently. The real contenders: LA CHI BOS etc are all high possession teams. I know what GF means, hence why I referenced it and the fact that my original point had nothing to do with it.

I don't think he was ever bad here. Average/acceptable but not outstanding, sure. But not like some complained about him. EDIT I also think Osgood deserves more credit than most give him EDIT 2 he was also way past his primeyears those seasons, I thought ppl had unrealistic expectations, and despite that he still played pretty good

That video is the most upvoted hockey video on reddit, by far I believe. His back story really won me over. First pro Inuit. Inuit name translates to "Thunder". Eats like an only meat diet or something (I believe many inuits do). Overcame his brothers suicide. Overcame his own drug problems. Classy as all heck and fearless as all heck at just 5'9'. Hard not to like that guy.
