signed Red Wings sign D Mike Green (3-years, $18-million)
number9 replied to Dominator2005's topic in General
Again, why is it different for Green than it was for Commodore and Emmerton? I'm sure I'm forgetting others who wore 25 after Dmac as well -

Poor Ogrodnick. If only he had punched more ppl in the face Dmac would never even have had the opportunity to wear 25. -

Didn't Commodore wear 25? Didn't Emmerton wear 25? -

Haven't multiple players, including emdog, worn 25 since Dmac lol? Why is this all of the sudden an issue? like Kip said, if you take 25 off the table A LOT of other numbers deserve the same treatment. Pretty soon everyone's wearing 83 or 49 -

Fedorov would've never been any good if Darren wasn't there to do speed and punch others for him -
He's clearly an opportunist. He waits for the play to come to him. Call it lazy if you must. However, I'm willing to look past that right now based on his raw talent. Wait... am I talking about Mantha or Franzen?

You play with fire, you might get burned. You do drugs, you might become an addict. Was Darren a great hockey player? Yes. Was Darren a druggie? Yes. Is Darren an idiot for ruining a lot of his career with drugs? Probably. -

You didn't call people with addictions great, nor did I say you did. But McCarty pretty much trashed his own career with drugs... like an idiot -

It doesn't exactly make them great either. Exhibit A: DMacs career. -

Wasn't our PP the best in the league last year? Or am I just being stupid?

Trade away players at the deadline Accept missing the playoffs Never give up hope winning the lottery Keep losing for the next 40 years after this season It will be fun to do a total rebuild The first letter of every line

Over/Under for Larkin's time as a Red Wing in 15/16

Green is wearing 25 I thought 71 was reserved for Russians. Dylark is hoping some of that Cleary contract magic rubs off on him. -
I don't think there's anyone that wants B. Smith. Lotta guys ended up out of work this season driving prices down. Buffalo was also probably a good choice for him. They're gonna be a lot better this year and he'll get good minutes on their blue line. He needs it after that short stint with the Preds.

I'm not sure what argument ur trying to make. R u trying to steer this towards our playoff exits? Or r u suggesting we sign players based on performances from 3 years prior?
-
And Howard and Holland, and Cleary again.

Is it so wrong to deeply care for another man?? I don't want my precious Danny boy to get hurt by one of those, how'd you say it? Doo-doo heads, out there on the ice. Also he's not very good at hockey, but what does that matter right?

I guess Callahan gave some bouncer the "do you know who I am?" treatment when he was asked to pay cover *cringes* EDIT: cover is $5 at this particular bar
