Asian civilization and culture, at over 5 thousand years old, is among the oldest and wisest in the world. They eat sharks. We need to learn from them. So, tonight, we butcher. Cooking optional. Hell, we don't even have to eat. Draper, I am counting on you to channel the spirit of the of the 90's. Jimmah, you have my faith. Everyone else, follow the lead of the Russian Houdini. Jesus, Buddha, Mohammed, Krishna.....................I'll take Pavel. Red Wing 'till I die!!!

I second that motion. What is your choice? Mine is Stolichnaya + Mango juice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCKtfdVqK7c Knowing myself, even if they loose, there are still 2 periods left, it will only deepen my love for my hockey club. Also, I thought it not possible, that my hatred for the penguins could worsen. Guess again.

Trade? What bothers me about him is his indifference. He is way too cool. Some of you interpret it as a lazy. The worst thing is that he is big and if only he would use his size once in a while, he would be a potent weapon, a force to be reckoned with. I can appreciate his relaxed demeanor being that hockey is a game of constant pressure. It is potentially a great asset. However, now, after giving it some time and thought, I think that in his case, it is more a hindrance than an advantage. I am happy that Jonathan Ericsson is finally starting to take advantage of his size. And to think that Tatar has been sent back. After the hunger he has showed us. To me, Bertuzzi has been the most invisible player on the ice, and I am not only talking about this game. Past couple months really. His highlight is the shootout goal against Calgary. You would think, or hope, that after the penalty he took there at the end, he would leave his heart on the ice, but alas... They say the key to GM's success is patience. On the postive, we are overachieving considering injuries. Congratulations to Jan Mursak for his first NHL goal. Keep it up. Jimmy, I have faith in you! Pavel, I hope you are enjoying your vacation. Cleary... Godspeed! Also thank you for your kind words on my intro. Time for "Fat Tire Amber Ale." Catch you on the flipside.

Everything I have come to witness, everything I have come to understand, everything I have come to know, everything I have come to love, of good and evil, of hockey, of Red Wings, started in early, cold January in 1997 with a game against the Avalanche, few weeks after I've come to live in the United states from Europe. While it was not the infamous bench-clearing brawl game that would come a bit later, it has stuck with me ever since. And it always will. Without ever seeing a hockey game in my life, without knowing anything about the sport, without even knowing of the Red Wings existence, I accidentally stumbled upon a game that would change my life. The name, the colors, Scotty Bowman's look, it all left a monumental impression on a young, innocent kid. I was surprised that I was mesmerized by something, at first glance so simple and effortless... the way they were passing the puck around. I questioned weather it was the Red Wings or the game of hockey itself that had me spellbound. I had my answer two days later, during which I tried to watch several other games, none featuring the magicians in red and white. "Tried" is the right word, since it took an effort on my part to watch something that left me mostly pleasureless. "So..., the Red Wings then, that's the answer," I thought to myself. "Yes, they play hockey too, but, it's Red Wings Hockey." To this day, it's difficult for me to watch other teams, so I do not. On the other hand, with the Red Wings, it's always the same on gameday: a lot of anticipation, a lot of excitement, dash of fear. When they score: instant dementia that leads to derangement and culminates in pure ecstasy. Let's not talk about opponents and playoffs, I'll be banned, and I've only just registered. I have been lurking around this forum for two years now. It's finally time to let my presence felt. Why now? I do not know. Perhaps the final star has aligned itself in the form of our victory against the Vancouver Canucks. I am still buzzing from it. That game made me go and buy Little Caesars pizza at 11 o'clock at night. I never had Little Caesars pizza before, and I have been living here, happily now, for 14 years. I was not even hungry. What can you say about their $5 Hot-n-Ready!? It's hot. It's ready. 'Nuff said. I hope you won't hold it against me, my lengthy introduction and such. Do not despair. The game is drawing near, and I am out of ale. I must make haste. The only question now is: India Pale or Belgian white? Catch you on the flip side.

New member here. Greetings to all of the Red and White Army. That video is the closest we have come to Red Wings' version of "HBO's 24/7" Massive victory. I know some of you do not agree... however it shows the true heart of a depleted team against the hottest one in the league. What hunger by the recent Griffins. All in all, one word: Jimmah. Luongo is a c***. Red Wing 'till I die.
