Preds in 4 The Ducks have their Perry, Getzlaf and Ryan all on the same line, then just Teemu by himself, they are going to get smothered by Suter/Weber. The only way I see the Ducks winning is putting Ryan on the 2nd line with Teemu.

To me at least, Corey Perry had a career year, I just think that when you face the facts, the best goal scorers in the league are Stamkos and Ovechkin and I say that because the way they score goals, we know players can go and score a lot of goals in a season, but to me Stamkos and Ovechkin are more of the pure skill goal scorers rather than just positioning which is what I see Corey Perry as and especially Crosby.

Who would you rather face in the 1st Round?

Nashville because the travel is bad on the team... It would be preferable on the team. Anaheim though... oh wow... I just think that Nashville against Anaheim will be the first sweep in Nashville's favor. -
If Chara wins... He maybe a +33, but in terms of skill as a defense man, he lacks, uses a lot of brute force rather than his stick and his legs to push defense man into taking a shot instead of passing it and when you have a hot Thomas, he gobbles up rebounds quite good. Quite frankly, I can't believe anyone could disregard Yandle who came into the season as a #3 defense man and has become the #1 and got points while doing it.

Distinct falling motion before being touched by Draper: Distinct let me try jumping into Howard because I got touched a little: Different angle, clearly see the contact happens with the crease before hand: Obvious with this one... Anyways, IMO Rule 20ish about intentionally trying to injure a player game misconduct should of happened here, as soon as Lupul felt Draper touch him, he threw out his right leg and laid on Howard.

Have you seen the stats? Rafalski +14. Lidstrom -2. The fact of the matter, even with the points Lidstrom has got, hes on the ice for too many goals and Howard gets blamed for it why? Source.

Blame Howard for Lidstroms failures? Lets talk about tonight. Whitney break away chance? Right in front of a Lidstrom when he got the pass, and then Howard goes to sweep it to the side and Lidstrom is unable to control and its shot twice after the break out by people within couple feet of Lidstrom. Howards great stop against Hanzal? Well he holds Hanzal behind the net while the puck is under his own feet and then allows for Hanzal to get to the front of the net, which last I checked, was Howards big problem this year, the front of the net has been allowed to be a free for all zone. Its become quite the bore hearing all the time everytime Rafalski is on the ice for a goal he gets attacked as if its his fault. Specifically the game winner in Game 5 by the Sharks, everyone here said it was all Rafalskis fault and he lost the battle behind the net, but he technically would of won it if the Sharks forecheck wasn't good, but it was and I can't recall who the passer was, but they threw right by Lidstrom and Marleau got a goal, but no its all Rafalskis fault.

You guys see him during the relay? I think he went 50/50 as the left point just trying to get it in, but Danny Brierre bailed him out big time even though he was short side. Anyways, Lidstrom doesn't need to be replaced by a OD, he needs to be replaced with a good solid d-man, and Shea Weber is just a guy that happens to shoot the puck at the net 200 times a year.
