I don't normally do this often, but I took a gander over at the Avalanche official forums and it was amusing to see how irritated they were that the Versus mics kept picking up a goalpost CLANG off and on throughout the period and not knowing where it's coming from.... ... It's Osgood. He's CONSTANTLY knocking his goalstick off the posts.

They're printed on an as-needed basis, so they're ALWAYS in stock.

I'd have no problem putting up something like that in the LGW.com store, but I'd want to have 100% permission from the original creator of the artwork so I don't get accused of "stealing" it. If I can get that, then sure, absolutely I'll have those things up and available no later than the end of the week.

Okay, this is now available in the shops (it's the one I forgot earlier this week and had to wait until today to get artwork approval.) Forsberg and Wolski both are NOT on the ice for today's practice. Wolski is interesting, considering it's an "upper body" injury. Forsberg not being on the ice is not surprising at all.

Fighting traffic coming home from the game... 4-0 this season, including each of the last two home playoff games.

Not sure what the Versus broadcast showed, but Al didn't even come out to get the octopi that were thrown on the ice. Whoever the the big one after the national anthem had it extra sloppy... Al came out to the Zamboni entrance and then handed a shovel to a linesman -- to some pretty damn loud boos from the crowd. The booing pretty much went on during the whole affair, even to the point where the referee needed to get a scraper for the ice to get some of the "stuff" up. The eyes of the Joe were all on the zamboni entrance because as soon as that octopus was off the ice Al picked it up and swung it around in the entrance right there -- the crowd went nuts. He did it again late in the third period when another fan threw one on the ice when the faceoff was in the Detroit end.

Yep. When my wife had our daughters the first one was a week late exactly, the 2nd was 10 days early. They actually induced the 2nd one because she was already starting to dialate (not rapidly, but steadily over a period of a couple of days if I remember right). The baby was of great weight so there was really no reason to let it continue on to term (not that it would've, anyway) and she was born the same day they induced (how they did it I won't get into details....).
