I won't argue that point -- the bandwagon has been bursting at the seams for almost two decades now, and it'll only grow as a result of this playoff run so far. But I think you'd have to concede that the large majority of fans here are a cut above those that regularly permeate opposing arenas. (And not all of them are bad apples, only a few.) I generally feel that the ones that come here and become members are more dedicated than those that just go, get drunk and then rag on opposing fans in their own barn. Never!

Wrong. Only 1 has been "IP banned", and it's the same halfwit that thought he was cute back in 2003. When opposing fans come in here you're on a short leash: Act like a level-headed hockey fan and you're in the clear. Come off like a complete asshat and you're finished. Pretty simple.

So, what is it? Some form of misguided penis envy? Because a few blowhard moron Wings fans spring up in opposing arenas is a green light for you to lower yourself with inane rants? I suppose you've got to take every opportunity you get, right? Even though it requires riding the coattails of the other local team because your team couldn't bust it's way out of a paper bag, let alone ice a respectable hockey team?

Did anyone else get the feeling -- at this point -- that the first period was a scene from a movie where one guy goes to the other "Go ahead, give me your BEST shot" (pointing at his chin), and then the other guy goes "Ok" and leans back and throws the hardest punch of his life, right on the kisser... ... pause for dramatic effect... ... then the guy wipes off his lip, looks at the fella that punched him and starts laughing. Yeah... that was the first period for me. Now let's not pull a San Jose.

It's weird saying this, but the reason the Red Wings are in the position they are now is because of their special teams play. If there's one area in this series where the Red Wings have utterly dominated, it's that. ... Still seems odd after having middle-of-the-pack special teams units all season.

Exactly. I'd feel better with Meech getting the odd shift out there than having Lebda out there coming off an injury like that... Plus, I'd rather have a guy out there that's played recently... If Lebda's out there I just have a bad feeling that Thornton's line will wreak absolute havoc on his pairing.

While struggling with consistency most of the season Kronwall was playing his best hockey before he was injured. He really came on when Markov missed time due to injury earlier this year. I'm having horrible visions of Lebda getting abused by Thornton's line Monday night....

I'm not taking credit for it -- another member post this during the Calgary series. Tracking flights is pretty common and there are a lot of sites that do it (FlightArrivals.com, FlyteComm.com -- which I use), but FlightAware.com actually lets you use the registration number of the plane instead of "Northwest Flight 1024" or whatever.
