Fantastic read. Always nice to get this kind of insight into front office dealings... I would've *really* been interested if Holland did something like this, so we could find out what the "3rd trade" Holland was working on involved that either couldn't get done before the deadline or fell through. (If it wasn't the Nolan deal, that is.)

If you suspect any are members here and they posted something after I posted that note about the rules, absolutely.

FYI: Forum rules state that members here going over to an opposing team's forum for the sole purposes of trolling will be BANNED here. Holland said on the radio today that it would be mid-March at the earliest. He's going to get a long walkthough with team doctors this week and they'll take their time with him before he returns to the ice. At this point there's no reason to rush him.

Well, truth be told there'll be so many faxes sent to the NHL office up to the deadline it'll be an hour or two to really know what really happened.

Did I miss something? Did the trade deadline get magically bumped up to 1pm? Relax people... Save the bridge-jumping and Holland bashing until at least 3:01pm.

And update: Someone on TSN's panel added that "Oh, Mayers to the Leafs" right before a commercial break and it was never mentioned again. Consider that DOA.

Not quite sure, to be honest. I'm letting the girls plan this one (Sunday's actually my birthday)... Since it's an early start I thought it'd be nice to head to Greektown after the game but I think they've already got plans.
