You know that watching the games requires you to have your eyes open, right? Because that obviously hasn't been the case here.
-
Oh, please. Shoulda, woulda, coulda. For starters, there are reasons that Vokoun is concidered the 2nd-best netminder in the West. Secondly, would you be as steadfast in where your "money" would be if Vokoun was facing two breakaways from Datsyuk and another from Zetterberg? Roughly the equivalent.
-
Against whom for each? It isn't that cut-n-dry to say it's "negligable" because if it was, Babcock wouldn't show an obvious preference for which goaltender he prefers in the net against certain opponents.
-
How many games have you watched this season? Seriously?
-
People to ***** about the two goals Legace gave up tonight need to be drawn and quartered. You can blame both on some boneheaded defensive decisions.

Guys, I have one request if you're going to start a GDT: Please make the topic TITLE & DESCRIPTION uniform for *all* of them. The format should always be as follows: Home Game: [DATE] GDT: [OPPONENT'S FULL TITLE] at Red Wings [TIME] / [TV] / [RADIO & INTERNET BROADCAST] Away Game: [DATE] GDT: Red Wings at [OPPONENT'S FULL TITLE] [TIME] / [TV] / [RADIO & INTERNET BROADCAST] It's for "official" purposes, so there's no confusion over which one to use (before they get pinned) and for archival purposes. Well, that and it gets annoying editing them all the time ... Thanks!

1. The guy wasn't drunk. 2. She escalated the situation by turning arond and getting into his face. 3. They didn't toss him at all. He walked up to the concorse for a bit and then returned to inside the arena to finish watching the game (well, in time for Gordon's GWer.)

I can attest to the NW-OH area being a haven for Michigan fans, too... I lived just *north* of the OH/MI for most of my life, went to college for a while at UT and my wife's family lives not too far from Stranahan... so I've been around the area a lot. My wife's family is *all* Michigan fans, save for her father. That poor, lost soul.

And for comic relief: Here Kitty-kitty-kitty... I think I'm smelling a new avatar....

One of my favorites (this is 6mo. birthday): ^--- With her "Spits & Giggles" bib.

Doing my part (kind of... it's hard finding decent pictures of me when all the camera cares about is the rambunctious 7-month -- almost 8! -- baby): This is one happy kid!

Hey Blak, don't you have some couches to go burn? That sounds like better use of your Sparty-time, doesn't it? /gasoline is my friend

What?!?! You think she's trying to "calm him down"?? Oh, please. She turned around after he told her to STFU and got in HIS face. That's clear as day. I won't argue about the lawsuit part -- it's silly -- but it's pretty clear that the only person at fault here was the holier-than-thou she-*****.

What are you talking about? I'm talking about Bucs LB-coach (and Marinelli son-in-law) Joe Barry being brought in as Lions DC.
-
May want to re-think that, there... http://abclocal.go.com/wls/index?section=s...orts&id=3243791 Like I said originally, I stand by what Axelrod said -- and the *video* backs that up.
-
Why is it sad? While I think him sueing is bogus if I had to pick who I "believe" in this case I'm going with Axelrod.

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/multimedi...t/index.19.html Just wanted to add to my point above. I'm not the only one who sees Leinart's qualities comparible to Brady's (to a degree.)

http://www.mlive.com/weblogs/highlightreel/ A great resource for Lions news. After seeing he was a candidate last week I liked what I read and wasn't high on getting a re-tread like Haslett. As the blog says, Marinelli is a "screamer" and a "leader"... something this team definitely needs. There's a reason why the Bucs refused to let go of him.
-
It's not who they'd take at No. 2 -- I think they could trade down a few spots and still get a player like D'Brick, or Hawk... some people have Hawk dropping as far as No. 9, but who knows. The flexibility of trading down would be nice (or even getting one of the two QBs, though I'd feel better trading for Schuab or Volek.)
-
I'm still having trouble fathoming that if Hanson missed that last-second FG against the Saints that we'd be picking No. 2... The Lions can't even LOSE right.
-
Houdini -- Agreed on all points.
-
No, he'll just play Legace for the next few weeks.

What was that joke I heard? That some of the witnesses that saw the mugging said that the suspent, for sure, was running a 4.2 40 when he fled the scene? That would rule out Clarett as a suspect.
