All this and the Daytona is moved back to 7pm. What else to do during such a boring deadline. Conflicting reports about Gaustad still. Some say Sportsnet said he was moved, some say he's still being dangled. Rumored that Kindl is Detroit's offer for Gaustad. -

Aaron Portzline says CBJ not lowering demands on Nash. Very firm. Heard Buffalo deal could be Gaustad to Detroit. Not sure if true yet... Kostitsyn has been told he was traded to Preds. More to come... -

Except asking price is rumored to be a first rounder. Yikes. @cotsonika: Howson would be nuts to send Nash to Nashville (or Detroit). Yeah, have him come back to Columbus contantly and haunt them for years. -

It'll cost either a first rounder or a first rounder and a prospect. And yes they should. He'd be a great second line scorer at already a point per game. -

Caps may be clearing up space for a trade by putting Backstrom on LTIR. Bruce Garrioch thinks the asking price for PA Parenteau last night was a first rounder. That would have been a better trade for us than giving up a first for Q. -

Buffalo News' John Vogl agrees a GM would have to be crazy to give a first for Gaustad. -
Doubt Buffalo moves Vanek. Would take Pominville, who has 23 goals this season, already passing his total from last year.

Nick Kyperos believes that the Rangers are done pursuing Nash. Price was too high. David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period believes that Toronto may also be out of the race for Nash. -

Darche hurt. Campoli may be traded though. Heard from a low-level source inside Isles organization that there have been some rumblings about JT going around. I don't think he'll be traded though. -
