I heard that nobody on the Jets in "untouchable," but they would trade their pending UFAs before players they have signed longer term. He's also a fan favorite there if I remember correctly.

I'll do a daily post here with some rumors, and I'll edit that post unless something major turns up. For now: -Smyth won't be traded anymore, but heard Detroit was perusing him. -DD reports via Twitter that Detroit is in on Kubina. Deal could be done soon. Philly another candidate. -

Hank may play; his recovery is going faster than expexted. Gill will not play tonight.

I haven't heard exactly what the Sharks offered, but I heard Columbus wants at least a young, good dman along with a first rounder. They have also expressed interest in a calae starting goaltender, which is why Boston may have dropped out. They were not cool with the idea of giving up Rask.

Burke has been offered a second round pick and a prospect for Grabvoski per Darren Deeger on Insider Trading. He could get more than that though.

Sharks are pressing HARD for Nash as of a few hours ago.

His stats aren't the best, but he's a shutdown d-man that can play the PK and that's what the Flyers needed for their 3rd pairing to play with Mezsaros or Carle.
