I really hope that this trade works well for the preds,because my heart is broken into pieces.watching preds play is gonna different without weber,something amazing needs to happening for the preds for me to be happy again,i think we all know the one thing that could lift a hockey fans broken sprit.

Since you seem to be a Predators fan posting on a Red Wings forum, what's your take on Subban on your team replacing Weber?.
Weber cannot be replaced.Haven't really watched subban play,when he was with Montreal,so don't know how well he will do with the preds

Feel bad for you, Weber is the definition of what (most) people would want from a defenseman, even if he is a bit aging still an unbelievable player most teams would LOVE to have.
Yeah it's amazing Nashville has an unbelievable eye for defensive talent and how to develop them. Wonder if Josi is going to be the next captain because Fisher won't play for much longer.
I'm just glad that Weber didn get traded to a division rival like Chicago.don't like Montreal,but Weber can still be my favorite non-pred player.

I never thought that this would actually happen.Shea Weber was our captain and the face of the preds franchise.always thought he would retire as a pred.this trade hit me like a wrecking ball.

I've never heard of the Blue Jackets referred to as Jax. Does this have anything to do with the Mortal Kombat character?
Blue jackets referred to him as Ryjo and somebody in that Nashville organization is calling him Joey

glad that a few of you all got to see this game, it was a hum-dinger. I don't hate Weber but do wish he would not always have his way with the Wings... this time he didn't get away with it. Best revenge = ruin his first NHL hat trick (away game... hahaha! so no hats for YOU) by beating them in OT. Again: ha!
Larkin is the real deal, and where, oh where, would the Wings be without him right now? I shudder to think, honestly. Mrazzle-Dazzle had a rare bad night, but the team did what was needed and stepped up. I could not be more proud of this team. Missing Miller and wishing him and Pookie a quick recovery... honestly, Miller is so tough, it wouldn't have surprised me (well, maybe a little) to see him playing.
All of these OT wins are becoming the new normal. I just expect them to win in OT, since they usually do. LOL~
Anyway, fun game, sorry if you missed it. Holidays play havoc with the hockey watching, don't they?

What a terrible cover to begin with. A team not many people outside of their idiot city like, with two d-bags holding the Cup. I wouldn't buy the game for that reason alone. Neither would a lot of people who hate the Blackhawks. The NHL just can't market s*** right.
I feel like them holding the cup on the cover is a little like bragging,especially to the fans cheering for teams with no cups
