Questions... What is Chicago's record against Vancouver this year? And does anyone who isn't a Hawks fan really believe that they can beat the Canucks in a 7 game series? I'm still not sure what I'd rather have to be honest. It will be really, really funny if Chicago misses the playoffs. At the same time, the Hawks are the "Canucks killers" and could potentially knock them off, which would be convenient but only if the Wings were to go far in these playoffs. Hmm... Well, you shouldn't really pick your poison. We should be careful for what we wish for... I can't think of anymore playoff cliches.

The Dallas Stars were told by the powers that be to lose this game or else they will all dieeeee. Muhahahaaaa...

Now I'm starting to feel a little glad I missed this one.

It sucks that Zetterberg is out but if you wanted to focus on a small upside then at least, in theory, every player should feel a little more "needed" and thus have more urgency to their game. The biggest problem with this team seems to be urgency, desperation, will, determination, etc. Sometimes it seems like some of the guys only respond when they're desperately needed. With Z out, they have another reason to just play hard. But again, only a small upside. I'd rather have Zetterberg in the lineup. Of course they'll need him but I'd rather worry about beating the Yotes first.

I hope someone uploads the earlier Pav dangles onto YT. NHL.com has it but I'd like to see it up close and in slow motion. Everything looks better in slow motion.

Well, how do we define big hitter?

The letter F is pretty close to H on the keyboard. But whoever did that was definitely thinking NFL lockout or something and maybe spared a minute to keep the NHL in the loop.

If the Wings turn out to good/fortunate enough to play Vancouver in this year's playoffs I'm not sure who I'd like to match up with their forwards. I mean, I like the idea of Datsyuk hounding Daniel Sedin while Zetterberg does the same to Henrik Sedin. The Euro Twins at their best with significantly more playoff experience could definitely minimize the Sedin twins.

I feel like the Wings will win.

Where do you get that idea? Especially after last night's game.
