Looks like we're going to have a change in officials? Interesting. -

Semin is scaring people out there with that shot of his. And not his penchant for playing bongos. -

No I'm just saying that's where the discussion is about that one. We have some pretty good responses in that thread. You should join in. -

Also Colorado in '99. I've never been so pissed at a Wings cup run since then. I'm still not quite sure what happened there. -

So Gaborik has caught Hossa syndrome or something? I don't. It's like watching two celebrity morons bicker. Except they're not celebrities. I mean, really, who the hell is this Brooks guy? He's a nobody. -
I could see both Hudler and Modano scratched to be honest when Z comes back. Hudler averaged just under 9 minutes a game so far these playoffs and both times he logged the least amount of ice time on the team.
-
He pretty much destroyed the standard we have of captains for the Red Wings with that playoff performance.

Of course I would like them to win in 4. On HF Boards though I voted for 5 games before the series started and I'm not sure why. Partially because I was somewhat in a contrarian mood (as the majority picked 6) but mostly because of my blood pressure. For me, 7 games is... No, 6 games is really pushing it but 5 has a somewhat ideal balance of stress and comfort. And yeah I know the world doesn't work that way (especially in Gary Bettman land, ) but that's just what I'd like to see with everything considered.

Me too (swagger) but I meant something else by that. I don't have as much swagger as you.

Enhh, more like Game 1. I think. Or hope. Or both. Whatever.

Is this a drinking game?

Wings have apparently had a 5 on 3 against for seven straight playoff games now. Aren't they always amongst the least penalized team every year during the regular season? What's so different about the playoffs? Other than, you know, the whole NHL money making machine thing.
-
So bench Hudler, bench Draper... Anyone else?

Hate to disagree with The Franz but I can't say I agree. -
Who here has that signature of a person choking next to a Boston logo?
-
3-1 MTL, 1:15 remaining. Empty net BOS. Bahstin now down 0-2 in their series. Yikes.

Doesn't seem as if the Canadiens are giving Boston's top offensive players much respect and it's working.
