Historically this is a ' throw away' game for our great Wings teams of the past as they had the firepower to do so and simply come back to the jo and close them out...this is a new Wings team and they need to slam the door tonight renaming the Madhouse the Winghouse before our departure!!!

Agreed....I feel its a safe argument to say that without every player and coach the Wings would not be where they are right now. Highs and lows is how hockey hockey goes and NO player or coach is above criticism when they play like s*** or cost the team. I just think that a dude with maybe one tendon and few real bones left in his body contributing while taking a damaging beating every game for his teammates should warrant fewer off ice beatings from fans. If someone else could do everything he does good and bad + his intangibles.... they would be in there. At least admit he's not stumbling as much as he used to and his slapper is borderline nearing becoming explosive.

A slight stretch imo........i dont have all the stats or video in front of me but we have scored roughly 30 goals in playoffs i think, and i would like to know how many Daniel had a hand in.....wether he got an assist a goal or held a puck in which led to score, great screen, drew a penalty which led to a goal etc......I know there is someone here in the forums that would love to do this:)

I agree and share your opinion. Tootoo has offensive abilites and we picked him up for keeping flys off, energy, pain in the assness, and chipping in some scoring. Right now we look great and no need to f*** with lineup.....but no denying how well we looked that last week of reg season which Tootoo was a big part of. next season he will put up 35 pts and prove he is no liability and be in fulltime come playoff off time. He seems to have a great attitiude about his role and really enjoys being part of the Wings. Hope He gets a shot this series or next but will understand if he doesnt

My neighbors are Cap fans so during the Spring they understand to wear helmets during Redwing games. Side note.... She texted me today requesting I throw blue cheese stuffed olives over next game:)

If that call would have been against the Wings and disallowed our tying goal.....the Detroit river would have ran red with blood and Royal Oak would have burned to the ground. Hell im a 41 year old aown bizness owner and like to think I have my s*** together but when Mule was boarded and Hawks scored I threw a bottle of grey goose across my yard into me naybors pool!!! Yes we like to think we are the classiest fans but c'mon....we are more fanatical than anyone about our team and I ******* hate the hawks fans with a passion and love sticking it in the heart and twisting it...f*** em, pile on dont stop, if you havent trolled a Hawks fan you really should!!!!

Im as big of Tootoo fan as u can be here and would love to see him just because I love his game and energy and attitude BUT.... With that being said I think the game the Hawks are playing would make it very tuff for #22 to keep skating away laffing like Cleary does. As fun as it would be to see Toots mutilate a Hawk, thats exactly what they want and he may even pick up an extra 10 the way the refs are seeing things. Ive noticed this for years and years....our team never pulls the cheap excessive bulls*** that every team pulls on us instead we just skate away...thats the Redwing way and I love that aspect to our game. Make no mistake, the league knows we are NOT the same ole Wings though and can thrash if needed. The young guys swarm the net when people get near Jimmy, cNt tell you how happy that makes me.

Eddie is just a miserable biased dick... At least fake it every now and then and that Mule hit and Hawks goal was horrible to listen to. Loved the make up call on the Hawks tying goal....so nice to have a playoff 'no goal' go in our favor. Refa blew that call as it was a clean goal and thats what makes it even sweeter.

Good to see expectations are back to normal around here. 3 weeks ago we were hoping to make playoffs, now perfection from a rook or bust.
