So Howie would have had to throw two shutouts against CBJ and CAL for us to win or as most of you state....to steal a game or keep us in it or give us a chance. Howie least of our problems!

Say what you want about the roster, i dont see the effort and intensity every shift and that is on each player! Babs can yell and scream or skate them to death BUT it still comes Down to each individual to give a s*** and work!! I was flipping back and fourth from Philly/ tb and its like two different leagues. Wings look slow and tired... Still. Only game we showed any moxy was St Loius .

I felt there was an opportunity or three for maybe Tootoo to try and spark the lack of wings effort with a scrum. jackets certainly took some liberties and never had to answer the bell for doing so. By no means am I speculating that we would have won the game but last night was the first night I was actually thinking he would fight to spark.

I have to confess that this is the first season in a very long time that I get this excited for every goal and near goal. I think my red wing eliteism is slowly wearing away and I kinda like it. Its actually fun having every shift of every game mean something, instead of waiting till the 2nd round of plYoffs till I really get invested and fanatical...i for one am enjoying the ride thus far and yes the frustration sucks bit its all part of it. -

Someone needs to post 'choo choo' from the SNL Leatherman sketches with Fallon and Sanz. It sure sounds like Fallon calls him too too but even though its Choo choo, I feel confident it will work in this thread:)
