I hate whistles. Seriously THE dumbest rule in Hockey is the "intent" to the blow the whistle means the play is dead kind of like when Hossa played for the Wings and goal was waved off(I think that was the same situation) I am still kind of pissed about that. But I guess after the 1997 National Championship for the Wolverines I am not allowed to see them win any meaningful games anymore. If that goal counts at the start of the game counted I wonder if the game would played out differently.

Really doesn't matter how the Wings play tonight, Refs are going to help out Chicago as much as they can.

Just watched the video, what a horrible call. But I guess you can just look at the Chicago game against the Wings and see how much the Refs helped them out. I mean when the kick is that obvious like that you know that the NHL is rigged.

I don't see the problem with the Delay of Game penalty, it isn't like the Wings do it every single game. No reason to freak out about the DoG penalty after the Wings have one bad game with three penalties when they rarely do it. The trapezoid rule though I do agree with, stupid and needs to be removed.

So is there any player not on the Wings that is a favorite player of yours or you would want to see wearing the Winged Wheel? Hate the team or not there are just some players that you have to respect. Forward - Joe Pavelski - Of course I hate him as a Shark but I really started to like him when he played on the US team. (Honorable Mention - Kopitar) Defenseman - Shea Weber - Big, Physical pretty much what the Wings need even if I do hate him at times. (Honorable Mention - Doughty) Goalie - Pekka Rinne - I would love to see him come over to Detroit, he is really becoming a great netminder and he has great size and quickness. Jimmy and Joey are 6'0 while Ozzie is 5'11. Rinne is 6'5". (Honorable Mention - Lundqvist) So who are your favorite non-Wings.

Don't know who I will vote for but for me it is between Datsyuk, Z and Helm. EDIT: Voted for Datsyuk but I anyone could get it for there own reason. Datsyuk is Datsyuk Zetterberg played great all season and especially when Datsyuk got hurt. Helm because he just always show some much hustle and heart even if he doesn't get a lot of points.

Foward - I agree with Nash Defense - Again agree with Weber. Goalie - Pekka Rinne, if Howard can get close to 40 wins with the Wings then Rinne could get about 50, lol.

Well not the prettiest goal by Franzen but maybe he can get some scoring confidence back. Good Job Wings clinching the Central.

Lol, yeah. There were a few more players I could list, I just put down the big ones that came into my head. Pekka Rinne is probably my favorite goalie in the NHL right now slightly ahead of the Michigan goalies Thomas and Miller.

Why is this odd? If it didn't happen then most colleges probably wouldn't have half the number of fans that they do because just like pro sports team, you might have grown up watching that team. Like for me it is Michigan, I have been watching Wolverines football since I was probably five or six. But I really don't care for College Basketball either unless Michigan is involved so I stopped watching the Tournament after Duke knocked them out. And also sometimes I do hate Sportscenter myself seeing as Lupul laying on Howard while scoring was "top play" of theres.
