    Barnaby arrested

Hmm, Looks like an out of shape Micheal Weston. (Burn Notice Reference in case people don't know the show)

    Simple off-season post

No offense, but that looks awful unless you are talking years down the road and Nick is still playing. Don't know how you get rid of Rafalski since he has an NTC and no way Detroit plays all of those young forwards unless Datsyuk and Z carry the team with about 100 points each. The Wings wouldn't even make the playoffs with that team. Sorry just being honest.

    Changes in the offseason

I doubt if Tampa makes it past Boston/wins the cup that Yzerman wouldn't re-sign Bergenheim who has had eight goals so far in the playoffs and Brewer who has been solid in his own right even if they weren't high point total regular season guys.

    Tampa Bay vs. Boston

That is because Yzerman is a genius and picked the right coach along with bringing in players who bought into Boucher's system. I am still pissed he didn't wait for Holland to retire so he could take the Wings over but good luck to the Yzerbolts. Going to be a very scary team in years to come if not already.

    Modano

I really don't think he would have made any difference in any of the games aside from not injuring Cleary like Hudler did. Fact is no one showed up besides the Wings stars in game seven.

    Tampa Bay vs. Boston

You know I thought I heard Kronwall but after a minute or two of watching I thought I was crazy. Glad to know I'm not.

    Tampa Bay vs. Boston

Tampa looks very solid this game. Man, wish I didn't pick this series to go seven if the Bolts are playing like this.

    Game Misconduct too.

Off-Season changes i'd like to see...

Multiple threads on this already man. Can a mod merge this topic with one of the others?

    Derek Boogaard found dead

Never really payed attention to him but RIP. Hope it wasn't something he did himself like drugs, alcohol etc.

Will Datsyuk play in the Worlds?

Forgot about the Bronze game but yeah, would be stupid for him to play in a pointless game.

Will Datsyuk play in the Worlds?

    Didn't Russia just get eliminated?
  13. MGreenberg

Are we Cheering for Tampa Bay now?

As long as the Cup winner is from the East I am happy, that being said I will be rooting for the Bolts.

    Simple off-season post

Not really a fan of those two, not just because they are Penguins but I think that there are better players available. I wouldn't mind dropping Ericsson for Wisnieski and the Ericsson/Hudler to Atlanta was for Zach Bogosian.

    Beautiful goal in the Worlds

Wow. Amazing to see that in a game.

    Congratulations to the Sharks

Ok, say the Wings win last night. Do you not think that the Sharks forum would be filled with comments like that? I am just wondering, do you expect fans to be happy about watching their team lose? Because I know I wasn't and I threw around my share of f*** the Sharks comments but that frustration lasts about the rest of that night and not much longer for me.

    Simple off-season post

I don't know if any team would want Hudler right now, lol. But if the Wings could swap and get Leino back, it would be an improvement.
  19. MGreenberg

    Congratulations to the Sharks

Anyone else thinks the Sharks contracts are wrong? Thornton, Marleau and Heatley should swap contracts with Setoguchi, Clowe and Couture because they pretty much carried the Sharks.

    Simple off-season post

Well if Nick takes something like five million instead you add that to Leino.

    2011 MLB Season Thread

Really hope they can continue this streak and catch up with the Indians.

    Our last playoff berth?

Would love to see Detroit in the East. No more 10:30 start times, get to match up with more original six teams and more Detroit vs Tampa games.

Bigger Picture Question - What was the deciding factor?

It was depth. Guys like Couture, Setoguchi, Clowe out played pretty much all of the Wings second tier forwards.

    Hudler's Future

Said it in another thread. Back to Russia with Hudler. He was lousy against SJ.
