Whenever he decides to retire his number will be hanging next to the 5 in the rafters. I agree I wouldn't trade him even if the Canucks offered both Sedin's and Kesler for him. One of my favorite Datsyuk videos.

Kronwall might have made a few mistakes here and there but he played great and I didn't even pay attention to Stuart so that must have meant he didn't make a ton of mistakes(or they didn't score on them anyway). Really though who chooses NIck and even one vote for Jimmy after his playoff performance? I went with McCrimmon, Draper, Modano, Osgood, Hudler and Ericsson. Draper, Modano and Osgood are just getting too old which doesn't apply to Nick because he still plays like an elite player. Hudler and Ericsson were just awful in the Sharks series. Hudler is the #1 concern though, please get rid of him.

So was it Hudler during that power play(or slightly after, it is a little fuzzy) who dropped that puck back behind the net while he was going away from it? He dropped it right into two Wings and two Sharks when he had all day if he continued up around the boards.

Ugh. Ok now that my anger has subsided slighty. Great series by the Wings, although losing after coming back really makes it feel worse than a sweep would in my opinion. And I hate to say this, Thornton actually played up to his talent level and Marleau finally showed up and got a goal. But now again, f*** the Sharks. Get Swept by Vancouver and then they can lose in the Finals to Tampa.

I got a feeling that the Wings age is really going to show last night as they get out-shot, out-hit and out played by this much superior and classy Sharks team. I said 30 - 1 earlier but I decided to tone it down. Sharks win 4-0 on a 50 save shut out by the Finals MVP Niemi.
