I would have Weiss playing on datsyuk's wing, z centering a line, and helm centering the 4th with glendening and abdelkader. I would also look to package Anderson with a salary dump or two (cleary, Bert, miller, eaves etc), plus kindl and a pick for a top 4 defenseman

I understand fully what you are saying, but as we've already heard Weiss has had a real tough time adjusting to the system, and I could be wrong, but I think that has to do with playing in the middle. Maybe playing him on the wing with arguably two future hall of famers ( datsyuk, alfy) is exactly the type of thing to get him going. I mean that's just my opinion, plus I love the nyquist-z-mule line and don't think they should split them up. Just my 2 cents

I think glendening is gonna be 4th line winger when playoffs come playing with helm and abdelkader. I really think Sheehan will be our 3C in the playoffs flanked by Tatar and jurco. That line is just too good

Yes that's one way to put it, but personally I would leave the twins split. I throw Weiss on pavels wing because I believe he is the best guy to help get him going and feeling confident! If we get the Stephen Weiss of old, this team is gonna be so scary! If they can somehow keep all the kids up and get the dead weight out I would seriously put there forward group up against any other in the NHL! Weiss- datsyuk- alfy Nyquist- z- mule Tatar- Sheehan- jurco Abby- helm- glendening With this lineup you have 3 scoring lines, but they are also all defensively responsible. You have a kid line full of energy, skill, speed, determination, and hunger. You have an energy 4th line that is so fast and will give teams absolute fits, but they are also responsible and can match up with other teams top lines.

Exactiy!! Imagine a bottom 6 of Tatar- sheahan- jurco Abby-helm- glendening We all love that 3rd line, boy wow that 4th line is crazy good. They have so much speed and grit, they could have the ability to match up against some 1st lines and drive them crazy!

Hopefully it's cleary who sits for zetterberg , then when Anderson is back, miller sits for him, then when pavel is back eaves sits for him.

In a perfect world I would like to see this lineup... Those are the exact forwards I would keep as well, but I mean I think that's pretty obvious to everyone on this board. Lines wise for me I like the twins apart unless Weiss is back to being the Stephen Weiss that we thought we would get. The thing I hate most about the wings is hearing that injured players are feeling good only to hear that the day of they are not playing, and that just goes on and on. I for the life or me have never seen so many injuries in one season. They are missing 5 top 9 forwards and that's not including Tatar missing tonight. And they are missing a top pairing d-man! I was extremely happy with the effort tonight it's just so damn difficult to play so short handed. I wanna say that I can't wait to see this healthy, but honestly I just can't see them ever getting healthy. If guys aren't getting hurt in games, it's in practice, or the car ride to practice. This is absolutely insane and so frustrating. This team could be a major contender if they ever got healthu

I think we got a lot of options when we get healthy especially up front. With the twins together... Can't wait to get helm and mule back up front. I think glendening should stay love his game and what he brings to the table
