Was just wondering who you guys think will be are top shootout guys this year. With the additions of Nyquist, Tatar, and Weiss I feel we will be a lot stronger in the shootout. If I had to guess I would think are top 3 regular shooters would be Datsyuk, Nyquist, Weiss, followed by Z, Tatar, Alfy What do you guys think?

I know it's early, but I'm a liittle bored an super excited for next season. So I was wondering what everyone's predictions are on the production of our players for next season. Pavel datsyuk: 23 goals, 52 assists Henrik zetterberg: 32 goals, 40 assists Justin abdelkader: 17 goals, 22 assists Stephen Weiss: 21 goals, 43 assists Daniel alfredsson: 23 goals, 25 assists Johan franzen: 26 goals, 28 assists Darren helm: 14 goals, 22 assists Gustav nyquist: 18 goals, 25 assists Tomas Tatar: 16 goals, 23 assists Jokim Anderson: 11 goals, 15 assists Patrick eaves: 12 goals, 12 assists Drew miller: 13 goals, 13 assists Defense: Nik kronwall: 13 goals, 35 assists Johnathan Ericsson: 6 goals, 10 assists Brendan smith: 9 goals, 22 assists Kyle Quincey: 4 goals, 11 assists Jacob kindl: 11 goals, 27 assists Danny dekeyser: 3 goals, 12 assists This is what I consider are top 12 forwards and top 6 defenseman. My numbers may be a little high I know but this is wishful thinking as I'm so excited for next season. As well this is barring no injuries which obviously isn't gonna happen

Ya but then who do you throw with the twins? While keepin the 2nd line dominant and having the best 3rd line in hockey. Again not saying Abby is a world beater he is just a great fit with the twins

This is my thinking 100 percent. Abby isn't good enough to just play top 6 and create and produce and belong. But he's the guy that will do the dirty work, retrieve pucks, and unlike homer can move his feet and get in on the forecheck. Abby is a solid player

I agree that Tatar and nyquist are better players but I also love a third line of Nyq- helm- Tatar it takes pressure of them to feel like they really need to produce, they get great matchups ( playing against bottom 6 players/ bottom pairing d). I can maybe agree with Bert playing there depending on his games after not really playing all year. Jurco isn't close to ready and Sammy haha he's awful. Abby isn't amazing but he fits with pav and z. He does the dirty work just like homer used to do. I can see a z-d-a line being just as or even more dominant then the z-d-h line was.

So who would you rather play with them?

Ya it will be the best 3rd line in hockey. Having a 3rd like that will take some pressure off the top 6 and allow us to come in waves and start wearing down teams.

I have a very good feeling the 3rd line will be Nyq-helm- tatar

Your also forgetting a healthy helm, a full season with nyquist, Tatar, Anderson, dekeyser. On top of that experience. Playoff experience for a lot of guys. This team is much better than last season

Well he better be on the 4th. No way he should be playing above dats, z, Abby, mule, Weiss, alfy, helm, nyquist, Tatar. If he's anywhere above the 4th line (when healthy) I'm gonna be way more furious than I already am gonna be if/ when he signs

I wouldn't go that far... But he's definitely cheap depth and his game was better last year

It's gonna be deadly! So fast and tenacious! I expect a big year from all 3. Wouldn't be surprised to see over 50 goals from that line

I'm okay with morrow... If its on the 4th line I'd take morrow- Anderson- miller/ Bert/ eaves as a 4th line
