No he's one of the hardest working guys on the team! I want fil back badly but not for over 5 mil. If fil walks I would consider maybe trading his rights along with Quincey and a mid pick or mid prospect to Florida for Weiss rights and kris versteeg

He sounds so dumb. One of the best players in the world wants to say and you say that. Holland you should know who pav is and his personality. He's not gonna break the bank on you. You should be saying the same things that you were saying in lidstroms contract negotiations. Pav is that important to this team.

Yes and no. Tho pavel does do some amazing work I feel like Val feeds off of pavel and his game. Val is very skilled and when on us dangerous! Also fil knows that dats is not a shooter so he knows he has to shoot the puck more apposed to when he plays with hank. Also I think fil sees all the incredible things that datsyuk does on the ice and it gets him going. As well fil knows that pavel is so crafty and sees things unlike anyone else that he know if he just busts to holes and open areas he's getting the puck on his tape. I really wish they gave those two a shot together because every time they are together they catch fire.

Oh ya! After Stevie retired I didn't think I'd love any other player more than him, but then pav kept progressing and progressing and has become my favourite player of all time. With pav I truly think ill never admire and love a player like I do with him. Guy is my idol and I respect him so much for what he does and how unique and flat out amazing he really is!

This is such good news! I want the contract to be as long as it can be. If he wants 8 years (highly unlikely) then give it to him. Pav isn't selfish either I could honestly see him taking a pay cut even tho he deserves a lot more than his 6.7 he's getting right now

If the price wasn't too high I would be all over hossa! Having hossa would solve so many problems for this team. You can play him with pav, or you can reunite the eurotwins and have him play with fil and mule who I remember being a great line. Z-pav- Abby Hossa- fil- mule Nyquist- helm- brunner Cleary- Andy- Tatar Eaves- tootoo The more I look at it the more I love it! That's a pretty stacked lineup if you ask me
