I really think going for jagr is a good play. Pair him with pavel and watch the skill take over. Also helps the pp, and gives us a veteran guy who's been there and done that.

Now just saw that eaves got hit in the jaw with a puck. Where does the madness end -
Your right in a sense that helm isn't a guy that's gonna kill guys using the body, but he does finish all his checks. The thing I notice with Helm is that he creates so many turnovers with his speed and aggression. That's why I keep saying him with Nyquist and Tatar would be lethal because those guys got the skill to do things with those turnovers

Apparently we were typing the same thing at the same time on the same Bat channel. Nice. Haha. Well it's true I think that line would dominate other teams bottom six. Could be a difference maker. Who knows maybe we see it in the playoffs when there's no roster limit

Happy to have helm back but too bad it's at the expense of nyquist. I mean in all honesty helm should be playing with nyquist and Tatar to make up the deadliest 3rd line in hockey

Ya that's the only possible reason that I can see why babs has left this horrific line together. IMO we are really missing Val right now. He is a guy that can make plays with Pav and has the wheels and mind to keep up with him. Would love to see a Fil-Pav-Tats line based on pure skill

I guess your right in a sense that Abby and cleary are better on the forecheck than Anderson is, but I feel that if dats had Tatar and Anderson they wouldn't need to dump the puck in much. And I think with that Anderson is better and smarter the. Both cleary and abdelkader. The guy can also finish as well. Fact of the matter is that at least one of cleary or abdelkader needs to be replaced with Tatar and I would not hate the other one being replaced with Anderson.

I would disagree with them not being good enough in the corners, datsyuk is one of the hardest guys to take off the puck, Tatar is very strong on the puck as well, Anderson may be a little soft for his frame but he can still protect the puck and play a cycle game. Would love to see that line

Thanks. I would do that in a heartbeat. He's great for a third line scoring line, can also play a shutdown role, as well he has the skill to play in a top six during an injury bug. I believe he can also play both center and wing and adds a great shootout track record
