Well good luck, hope we at least get 5 shots this period that would be a good start
-
#93 needs to be reemed out publicly!!! Number 14 needs to be up playing a big role
-
+1 I agree totally, there is no way he shouldn't be up even when we are totally healthy when we have floater like franzen, bertuzzi, hoolmstrom, emmerton. Just absolutely pathetic for proffesional hockey players. I would kill to be in there shoes to play the game i love for a living and for the stanley cup every. Absolutely no excuse for piss poor effort
-
And nyquist isn't playing because? My god ******* health bomb Franzen already he is pathetic. Man i wish we kept Hossa
-
Babcock needs to light a fire under these guys! my god i know were missing key guys but that doesn't mean you stop working hard! these guys are so frustrating, Bertuzzi, Franzen your are first line wingers and you don't want to put any effort in? Jesus christ pathetic
-
so now there bumping Nyquist to the 4th line for Holmstrom. OH GOD!
-
Just saw on Mlive that Nyquist will be playing with Abdelkader and Cleary on friday
-
Nyquist better be playing on the second line, cause we could sure use his scoring ability right now
-
After the 1st period were they really that bad? They ended up having 40 something shots, and only allowing 25ish. PP needs work asap and on the bright side i actually saw the mule out there tonight

Wings re-sign Ericsson to 3-year, $9.75m contract

This better be 4 years or im gonna lose it. Seriously Kenny what are you thinking? He wouldn't even get that on the market in a terrible ufa crop -
Ehrhoff's rights traded to NYI, then traded to Buffalo

I agree with not giving up the 4th for Hoff as thats just too much and has a legitimate shot to be a good player. But i think if I was Holland I would have gave up the 7th for Wis as I think he would sign with us on a better deal then what he signs for on july 1 or later. (Again if he gets that for) which i hope to god he does -
Ehrhoff's rights traded to NYI, then traded to Buffalo
Nyquistfan14 replied to Travis's topic in General
Ya normally i would be against trading picks for rights, but not so much this year as there is so little to pick from. It would be different if we were talking about a low market non contending team, but we are none of those things. If we had the rights to say Wis i think we would get a better deal then if we have a pick in free agency (if he even gets there). With team needs on defence and so little to pick from you bet guys will get overpayed, but with the rights to one of the top notch d in this ufa crop maybe we could get a much better deal. I guess we will see, but im very nervous -

I know that but still we may have to overpay for wis, but imo we need him as i dont want our Rafalski replacement to be Jovo or someone along the lines of that. If all we do is re-up E and sign Jovo we are in big trouble on the back end. But I do trust kenny and believe he will make the right decisions things just feel very uneasy atm with all our potential targets going down like flies -

Im really getting nervous now. I really hope Holland has something up his sleeve. He has to right? There is no way he goes for a down year knowing that it is probably Lids last year right? -

Just saw this on HF boards..... "Jagr does not like the Pittsburgh offer. They promise him a lot of space on the ice, they miss a top RW, yet they are offering him only about $2 mil. The Detroit offer may be even twice that big. That's why after his arrival, he will still negotiate with both parties, and will decide after that." This is apparently from a Czech report so take it with a grain of salt

Ya no kidding! So much talent with such a s***ty work ethic lol

Ya i've given up on the thought of him coming to the wings. Heres hoping the Pens flop in the first round and our acquired top 6 forward plays a major role on our way to the cup. Then he can see what he really missed out on
