Huds Datsyuk Cleary Bert Z Franzen Abby Flip Modano Draper Helm Eaves I know these wont happen cause Homer wont be scratched, but i feel that this allows for a more speedy fast lineup. Line 1) This line has proven to be dynamic and able to score at will. Line 2) Remember game 4 last year? Nuff said. Althought Z and Franzen are question marks. Line 3) This line was together near the end of the season and I absolutely loved them. I believe it was the Washington game (could be wrong) where they were by far the best line. They bring speed and grit and the ability to score. Line 4) This line is the best 4th line in hockey. PP1 Huds Dats Cleary Lids Raffi PP2 Franzen Z Fil Kronwall Modo

He was our third best player in game 1 behind Datsyuk and of course Howard. Tonight he barely even played.

I agree with the latter half of that statement but not the start of it. He was one of the best players in the pheonix series

Its ******* bulls***. The ref sits there and pretends to drop the puck to see what winger moves. Like duh ref he's obviously gonna move as he wants the advantage on the puck. I barely seen any sharks centre get waived out but Z gets waived out atleast 50% of the time. It may not seem to be a big deal to the refs, but its a huge factor as they will usually get posession of the puck.

+1 we need help on offense and Modo is the answer. Please no more Miller, he's solid and all he just brings squat to the table

For game 1 the article said that the healthy scratch debate was between Mo and Huds. There is no way Huds should be a healthy scratch. IMO he and Flip are the x factors in how far the wings go in the playoffs

I believe that this is a serious wake up call and Saturday's game will show us how the Wings will be the rest of the way. I hope to god they come out flying with a chip on there shoulder. And play angry, determined, and desperate hockey all the way! Yes I still believe because they are the deepest most talented team and when they are on absolutely nobody can touch them. So whats it gonna be Wings?

Just wondering on the wings second goal by holmstrom did Filppula not tip it in the slot before Homer? Did anybody else see this on CBC?

He started the game with Abby and Miller. Had an assist on Z's powerplay goal. I believe midway through the 2nd (or around that time) he and Bert switched places. He was great tonight not only on the stat sheet, but he was working very hard, backchecking, creating turnovers, getting pucks out of the zone at key times, etc. Very very solid game for Jiri tonight.

Anybody know the wings lines for tonight? I hope Hudler doesn't get bumped down to the 4th line tonight cause he's completely useless there. Lets Go Wings

I like the looks of these lines. As i recall Datsyuk played with Bert for a good stretch last year and they had very good chemistry. But we all know that Homer will not be a healthy scratch. Hopefully he is on the 4th lines because that third line with Abby is so much better. Hopefully Homer gets 4th line minutes and is fresh and affective for the powerplay. Does anybody else feel that with Homer's even strength drawbacks that it would be more benificial for the team to have him as a health bomb and have Cleary park his rear end in front of the net?

Put Jiri on a top 2 line and the Wings will be a better team

I thought we played fairly well last night. We dominated both the first and third periods, but weren't very good in the second. But i felt we could have created more offense if Hudler wasn't on the 4th line for the first 2 periods. I don't know why Babs is throwing him there it's not like he isn't playing well, doesn't have the skill, or isn't hustling. He is doing all those things and IMO if he was on with Z and Cleary all night last night we score more than one goal and probably win the game. What do you guys think? Hey everyone.. This is my first post on LGW have always looked on the boards. Just wanted to say that I am a huge Filppula fan. If he continues to play like he has the last 4 games then the Wings are going to be a very scary team in the playoffs, having 3 lines that can score at will. I was at the game last night and man Fil was a beast, it wasn't just the third period imo it was the whole game. I really hope he can play with this type of confidence the rest of the way. Oh and I really like him with Modano. Thanks
