  1. I'm just saying the coach has to have the final say. Why wouldn't he went to play the guys he won with? IMO we have to have a roster where Z is the rhird line center by mid season next year. Kronwall definitely needs reduced minutes. We are a young fast team and need to play like it.

This. We need to tailor our team on the strengths we have and up front it's speed, that means playing a fast style if we get the right defense to play that way this team will be so much better. You see moments of it when we our breaking out well and the forwards are flying, teams can't stop that but it needs to be a consistent thing

  2. Respectfully disagree.

So many prime chances for a quality shot are passed by courtesy of our Euros (Dats/Hank/Tatar/Nyquist) in favor of a pass...It's been this way for the past 4 plus years...We are in need for a guy/s who is selfish, and has a decent shot.

It's also these sorts of players that hang around the slot, and in close to the opposing netminder to get those loose rebounds that we're unable to get to since few have the courage to go there.

Ya I was watching the 2008 playoffs and so many of the goals were just from throwing pucks to the net. This team never uses the far pad for rebounds it's so easy to do and gets you lots of goals

  3. I don't hate him, but he consistently did things that made us worse throughout the year. HOWEVER, we did make the playoffs, and he gets some credit for that. But we needed to play the kids more, and not rely on aging (and broken) veterans. I hope he does a lot of soul searching in the offseason and coaches the way he did in GR that made him successful, and not trying to be Little Mike. Mantha and AA have to be in the top 9 next year, Marchenko and Ouellet need to be in the lineup every night. Mrazek has to be the starter.

I never really watched him in GR but would you be able to explain his style/system a little bit when he was there?

  4. I know, but watching the two Nyquist just doesn't seem to have that ability to consistently outperform someone like Tatar. They both were disappointments, but Nyquist is just something else and beyond frustrating to watch. He brings down all the lines he's on.

See I see it the complete opposite. I find Tatar is just lost and can't do anything anymore. He doesn't play hungry like he used to, man that guy was a spark plug who loved to shoot and loved to score now I just go game after game without even noticing him except when he turns it over on the pp

  5. I'm not blaming Mrazek for the loss (entirely), but I'm definitely giving him a chunk of blame for the goal. The other chunk is for Kronwall.

Ya maybe a small chunk but I can't complain about the way the team defended tonight they barely gave up any chances and had so many grade A ones but again suck hard on the finish. Things won't change until this roster changes abs finds a couple pure goal scorers. Don't care if they are not two way players we need to score

  6. Another though, that miscue by Mrazek reminded me a lot of Howard!

You can't blame mrazek man he let in 1 damn goal. It's like a pitcher getting s*** on for allowing 1 run and losing. No run support. This team can defend and a lot of times get quality chances but man they cannot score and that's the biggest problem. Not gonna get any easier with Pavel gone
