It's turning out exactly as Modano and Holland planned. Holland shows interest in Modano publicly to generate ineterest in him from other teams to see what he can get. Holland has probably already had his deal on the table all along and has told Modano that if he wants it it's there. So what's everyone so pissy about? He said "it's Detroit or retirement" to a reporter standing outside of Illitch's Tiger's suite, hell I'da said the same damn thing. esteef
