I noticed Leino, he was standing around waiting for Flip and Cleary to get him the puck for a shot, a la Brett Hull. And I noticed every time the puck went to him, it was on the stick of the opposition within 2 seconds with him trying to catch up or picking himself up off the ice. Nice work! esteef

Specifically watched Lame-O last night and all he did was float. He stood in the slot while Flip and Cleary did all the dirty work along the boards and in the corners to control the puck down low, taking hits in the process. He did this on both sides of the rink. Get. Him. Out. esteef

C'mon man! He still recognized that the D was backing off and made the "sweet" moves to take it to the net. I mean, it's Carcillo we're talking about here, not some awesome puck-handling scorer like Leino. esteef

21 fights in last year's playoffs. Doesn't sound like a lot until you consider that there were only 6 the year before. Just sayin'... If May is kept over Miller it will be because he's a great 4th line grinder who can hit, forecheck, enforce and is a great lockerroom guy. Miller is good too but he's essentially another Eaves, which ain't bad either. Tough choice! esteef

Seeing as how May has demonstrated that he can actually play hockey and forecheck, I would be surprised if he was waived, especially with a lot of scoring returning to our lineup. If it comes down to Miller or May, my guess is Miller's gone. Also, with Rittola looking better each game, it's gonna be hard for Leino to keep his spot unless he picks it up pretty quick. As others have said, I'd like to keep Janik over Meech or Lebda but the Wings will probably keep Lebda. esteef
