Exactly. All these pre-season games happening that people would gladly pay to see but the NHL does nothing to accomodate them. I mean, they sell tickets to these games right? Why not sell the ability to watch them from anywhere like the regular season? Another opportunity lost. Ultimately, hockey is the NHL's product, but they seem to do a piss poor job of making it available to as many fans as possible even with newer technologies making it so much easier to do than before. They basically allow their product to be held hostage by people who don't care about the sport, and in the end the fans are the ones that lose. That's what chaps MY hide! esteef

Does the NHL offer streams of preseason games for purchase? My Center Ice doesn't start until the reg season. esteef

I only used it during the Wings/Ducks series last playoffs and it worked sufficiently. Although I did pay for the HD feed but could never get it to stream without constantly having to buffer. The normal quality worked just fine though and I was able to see the games that would've normally been blacked out in my area so it was worth it. Heads up though, make sure you turn off the automatic payment when you're done, I was unaware that I paid for an extra month until I saw it on my credit card! esteef
